Structure

Departments

The camp will be organized in 3 Departments (Kitchen, Infrastructure, Soul). As you sign up you will need to choose one of them.

This is how it works:

- Every department has a Department lead

              Knowing everything about that department

Supporting the cämplimeisters with organizing and structure

Helping the leads if they have any questions

Being responsible of that department during the event (together with the camp leads)

- Within the three departments there are several Lead positions

Being responsible for one part of a department

- Every department has Shifts

Small parts of daily work to make the camp functioning

In every department are different leads and lot of shifts. You have to take shifts and if you want to be a hero, then take a lead position. It's not a lot that you have to do. Most part of a lead position is to get all the information, maybe sign up for some stuff or make sure we have everything that is needed, and at the event itself being responsible that your part works. You can always ask the Cämplimeisters if you have any questions - they gonna help you.

Everyone in the department is responsible of that department during the whole event. Make sure all shifts are covered. Help each other if someone is not able to do their shift. At the beginning of the event, we are going to have a little briefing to make sure you get to know everything needed.

For taking a lead you don't need to have Early-Entry or stay for Strike. There are many leads, that you can take even if you can't come early or stay late. What it means to take a specific lead is written in the descriptions below.

And if you take a lead you can still take some shifts as well.

Volunteers step forward!

If you have a lead or a shift and you cannot take it for whatever reason, please give your best to find someone else to do it for you.

If you see that someone that would be on shift or would have a lead cannot do it - please be kind and do it for him/her/they...

And remember: it is always about the fun - taking a lead sounds serious and like a lot of work, but it is mainly fun. Same for the shifts. If you do things you will get even more back. The more you help the more fun it is. And if you help, you will surely have fun doing it because, well... We ain't no lame-ass-boring company - we are a Barrio at freakin' Nowhere...

And no, we don't look at things too seriously - everything will work just fine as it does - or not :)
